Mini CDs work just like their big brother recordable CDRs, they're just smaller.  A Mini CD is just 3" in diameter and fits nicely in a shirt pocket or purse.  A full size CDR will hold over 700 MB of data and a Mini CD holds approximately 180 MB which is ideal for many different applications.
